Young Haven

Young Haven is a virtual reality experience focused on child mental health and emotional awareness. With the experience mainly focusing on younger children, the use of virtual reality equipment states that the children are accompanied by a guardian at all times. The main focus is on the psychodynamic way of therapy and the use of meditation to help them cope with their mood and emotions. The experience leans on providing children with their own safe space to relax and play around. It also acts as a form of communication between the child and a guardian to better get a child to be able to open up to them and express their thoughts and feelings without feeling overwhelmed. The experience offers different environments for the children as they are slowly introduced to the form of therapy using pets, toys, games and colorful spaces that help them familiarize and get used to the space. While slowly introducing the aspect of meditation once they are ready to move on with the next stage.
